‘A reflection of the serious issues regarding my health, in particular my lung disease which is quite debilitating. The picture represents the damage in my lower lungs and the plant growing from the lungs represents something positive growing out of the negative. The Aloe vera is said to have properties that can relieve serious respiratory disorders and although not a cure, to me it embodies a positive outcome for my health.’
